A good night's sleep is extremely important!

For us was a fixed bed very important, so we have under the bed lots of storage space and we shouldn't literally make our bed every night.

After a lot of drawing, thinking and hesitating, we opted for a bed in the width. this is of course a compromise and is certainly not an option for tall people, because our bed is only 172cm x 140cm. Which works perfectly for us with a little diagonal sleep, but if we ever make a bus again, we will do the thinking exercise again.

our bed is built at 90cm high, this gives enough space in the 'garage' and still allows us to sit upright in bed, even with our thick pocket spring mattress.

We have chosen a real 18 cm pocket spring mattress that we have cut to size. I don't think we would ever want anything else in our camper! much more comfortable than cold foam.

TIP: Cutting a mattress is easiest with a large bread knife.
